This free special event provides you with an open and friendly environment to explore end of life planning by giving you access to the professionals who work in the death care industry. Discover your options and get answers to your questions.

Tour our state-of-the-art crematory and engage with professionals from local funeral services, vault suppliers, monument dealers, caregivers, cemetery staff, and other related experts, all conveniently gathered in one spot.

Pre-need planning allows for a much less stressful experience for you and your loved ones. Whether you are simply curious about or are ready to start a death care plan, this event will give you access to all the ins and outs so you are prepared ahead of time.

Mohawk Valley Gives

Forest Hill Cemetery Preservation Foundation is participating in Mohawk Valley Gives  Day of Giving.

​

Forest Hill Cemetery contains nationally registered structures and monuments. We are asking for the community to help us preserve the beautiful historic landmarks that call our cemetery home. Our most endangered landmark is the Silas D. Childs Chapel. 

​

The chapel has been a cornerstone of our community since 1869. For over 150 years it has been available for the public to use for free, providing a beautiful and functional space for memorials, weddings, community events, and so much more. Unfortunately, the chapel is in urgent need of repair.

​

Please donate to our preservation fund on Mohawk Valley's Day of Giving, September 19. Together, we can keep the Silas D. Childs chapel serving the community for another 150 years.
